What are the differences between a Retail account and a Pro account?
Everyone is a retail client unless they satisfy one of the requirements to be classified as a wholesale client under the Corporations Act 2001 Act (Corporations Act). Wholesale clients have different conditions available for trading to retail clients. This is because wholesale clients are expected to have a more sophisticated understanding of complex CFD products. If you are not eligible for a Pro trading account, you can still trade over 1000 CFD products on our platforms as a Retail client. You can apply here for our Retail account.

What is the minimum deposit requirement I need to maintain in my Pro trading account?
There is no minimum deposit required to keep your Pro trading account open. However, your MT4 and MT5 accounts will be archived if inactive.

How do I know when my account has been upgraded to a Pro trading account?
Once you’ve successfully applied to be reclassified as a Wholesale client, you will receive correspondence from Vantage informing you your trading account has been upgraded to a Pro trading account.

Can I access promotions with a Pro trading account?
Yes. Wholesale clients that hold a Pro trading account with Vantage have access to exclusive trading promotions. Earn AUD$5000 for every friend you refer as a Wholesale client, and access other cash and credit rewards.
