MetaTrader’s removal from App Store: What Happened?
Having been around for more than a decade, the MetaTrader platform has rocketed in popularity, becoming the top choice for online traders as well as industry stakeholders. However, as of 23rd September 2022, Apple has pulled MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) from the App Store.
MetaQuotes, the company behind MT4 and MT5, received news from Apple stating that the applications do not comply with the App Store’s reviewed guidelines. Details regarding the case have yet to be confirmed by MetaQuotes .
However, the desktop version of MT4 and MT5 still remain available, while Android users can rest assured knowing that the Google Play Store versions have not been affected.
